libtre5 software package provides regexp matching library with approximate matching, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libtre5
libtre5 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libtre5 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libtre5 *
You will get with libtre5 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
